Modernizing Project Management

Agile project management is a style of project management that focuses on early delivery of business value, continuous improvement of the project’s product and processes, scope flexibility, team input, and delivering well tested products that reflect customer needs.

Project Management

A project is a planned program of work that requires a definitive amount of time, effort, and planning to complete. Projects have goals and objectives and often must be completed in some fixed period of time and within a certain budget.

Why Agile Project Management ?

It’s no doubt that the project management industry in general has been developed dramatically in the past few years. This is due to the rapid changes that has occurred in the market and the technology, accordingly the customer changing requirements which continue to change a lot during the project. That’s why Agile project management appeared to save our projects and customer’s satisfactions. Agile mainly aims to deliver the highest value to our customers, and this will be achieved by using more collaborative and adaptive approach like Agile.

How agile projects work?

Agile approaches are based on an empirical control method & process of making decisions based on the realities observed in the project. In the context of software development methodologies, an empirical approach can be effective in both new product development and enhancement and upgrade projects. By using frequent and firsthand inspection of the work to date, you can make immediate adjustments, if necessary.

Who Is An Agile Project Manager?

  • An Agile Project Manager is not someone who only knows how to practice Agile.
  • An Agile Project Manager understands both traditional plan-driven project management and Agile principles and practices.
  • And he/she knows how to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a given situation

What it means to be agile?

“Being Agile” doesn’t mean throwing out all rules and processes following the way of the old Wild West. Being Agile does mean working in a lightweight, highly responsive way so that you deliver your product or services in the way the customer wants and at that time the customer needs them.

What is Agile thinking?

  • Agile thinking is about encouraging and appreciating value, speed, and flexibility.
  • Agile thinking encourages experts to communicate better and to recognize mistakes earlier.

What Exactly is the Agile Mindset?

An agile mindset is the set of attitudes supporting an agile working environment.
These include respect, collaboration, improvement and learning cycles, pride in ownership, focus on delivering value, and the ability to adapt to change.
This mindset is necessary to cultivate high-performing teams, who in turn deliver amazing value for their customers.

Agile way Vs Traditional way

As opposed to more traditional, sequential development methods, Agile methods allow you and your organization to be responsive to what’s important. In other words, Agile methods allow you to:
  • Work on the most important work first.
  • Embrace and manage change to be innovative and competitive while minimizing unproductive churn.
  • Focus on communicating directly with human beings.
  • Be able to demonstrate working product or tangible services to stakeholders and customers, rather than just talking about what will be done.
And, that’s just the start of what can be accomplished through the ability to respond to changes, changes, direct communication and focusing discussions on tangible work.

In Numbers Everyone is Happier With Agile
